Chef de Partie

  • Kent and Sussex – 7 gastro pubs
  • Salary £20,000 plus minimum £3,000 tips
  • Staff Incentives and Benefits
  • Maximum 48 hours per week with 2 consecutive days off
  • The Gun/The Vineyard/The Dirty Habit/The Farm House and The Potting Shed

The Role

  • You will be involved in the training and management of junior chefs
  • Menu planning and involvement in meal preparation in our modern fully equipped kitchen
  • Oversee food preparation using fresh locally sourced seasonal food
  • Enforce health and safety, plus hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Troubleshoot any problems that may arise in the kitchen
  • Ensure that food reaches the customers in a timely manner, maintaining the continued high standards that we are proud to have achieved


The Person

  • Will have UK experience at Gastro Pub Chef de Partie or Commis Chef Level.
  • Be passionate about locally sourced fresh food.
  • Must have a calm personality, be a team-player and be able to help deliver consistently high quality food at all times.
  • Have own transport

Senior Sous Chef

Senior Sous Chef Required - The Farm House/The Poacher & Partridge

Kent and Sussex – 7 gastro pubs
Salary £24,000 - £27,000 plus minimum £3,000 net tips
Staff Incentives and Benefits
Live In may be available at a cost of £2,000 per year
Maximum 48 hours per week with 2 consecutive days off


The Role

  • Assist in handing all aspects of the day to day running of the food operation at the pub.
  • Menu planning and involvement in meal preparation in our modern fully equipped kitchen.
  • Oversee food preparation using fresh locally sourced seasonal food.
  • Ensure that food reaches the customers in a timely manner, maintaining the continued high standards that we are proud to have achieved.
  • Ordering produce, staff control, quality and cleanliness, pricing and gross profit management plus waste control.
  • Deputise for the Head Chef.
  • Help to select and train kitchen staff.
  • Handles any problems that may arise in the kitchen.


The Person

  • Will have UK experience at Gastro Pub Senior Chef de Partie level.
  • Be passionate about locally sourced fresh food.
  • Must have a calm personality, be a team-player and be able to help deliver consistently high quality food at all times.
  • Have own transport.

Commis Chef - The Poacher & Partridge

  • Kent and Sussex - 7 Gastro Pubs
  • Excellent Salary/Pension + tips
  • Staff Incentives and Benefits
  • Live In may be available at a cost of £2,000 per year
  • Maximum 48 hours per week with 2 consecutive days off


The Role

  • Support the head chef, sous chef, line chefs as well as other kitchen employees in food production
  • Assist kitchen staff in maintaining high standards and production of superb fresh locally sourced food.
  • Ensure that health and safety standards are upheld in the kitchen
  • Help other kitchen staff in ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean at all times
  • Safely store all food that is left over


The Person

  • Must have UK Gastro Pub experience
  • Will be passionate about locally sourced fresh food
  • Works well as part of a team in a calm and efficient manner
  • Have own transport
