This stunning 15th century Elizabethan coaching inn is situated in the heart of the beautiful old market town of West Malling with its wide street and ancient architecture. This historic Inn, previously known as The Bear, has been a popular meeting place for locals and traveller alike as they have rested on their way to Canterbury for over six hundred years.
Reputed to have at least more than one ghost, The Farmhouse really is living history and is as popular today as ever it was. The separate ground floor dining room is spacious, light and airy, with large sash windows and its own tasteful bar.
The second dining room is on the first floor and has original high ceilings and large windows which overlook the al-fresco dining area to the rear. The finely tuned bar area which is to the right of the entrance is tastefully contemporary in style and is a popular meeting place for colleagues, family and friends. The Farm House also offers a quiet beer garden and al fresco decking overlooking the most magnificent 15th century Kentish rag-stone barn.
All these facilities make The Farmhouse one of the most flexible venues for private dining to be seen anywhere. We can offer private dining services from a small group of Eight people to as many as fifty.
