Places of Interest

The world renowned Leeds Castle is within easy walking distance of the pub, said to be 'the loveliest castle in the world.'

Also close by is Thurnham Castle which can make another pleasant walk from the pub.

White Horse Woods are part of a natural park of considerable beauty and diverse fauna easily accessible from The Dirty Habit.

The village of Boxley is a short walk away over the escarpment with some fine views across the Weald.

There are over one hundred listed buildings in the village of Hollingbourne itself and from the top of Hollingbourne hill there are some spectacular views towards the South Downs.

Wormshill and Bredgar light railway is also close by and definitely worth a visit. Please check their website for opening times.
